How can I sync itunes library song information changes to my ipod?

I've been adding information to my itunes library music such as filling in missing albums and adding cover art, but how can I update the songs on my ipod touch with the new added information? I don't want to add all the songs in my library onto my ipod touch, I only want the current songs on my ipod to stay on my ipod, nothing else.

Stop it from syncing right away. Then under your ipod check only sync checked songs. In your itunes library uncheck all the songs and movies etc you don't want on your ipod and then press sync.
