i have no idea why, but some of the songs in my itunes library that i have downloaded from limewire and transfered over r not playing. i tried to change the album art on one of them and an exclamation mark just showed up beside it and wouldn't let me change any of it's information (like rename it or w.e) and the library will just skip it and play the next song after it.
when i click on it, it says %26quot;the song could not b used b.c the original file could not be found. would you like to locate it?%26quot;
i have no idea how to get these songs to play again can u help mee?
i have windows vista by the way..if that helps at all lolItunes won't play certain songs?its because iTunes can't find the songs just click and say locate or find then find the folder you put your songs in. i had the same problem but i fixed it. if you don't know what the folder is called go to limewire click explore on a song and copy the folder named at the top. (the one that looks like an address bar) and then click the songs that have a exclamation point click find and paste the folder name and find the song. after that it will start playing and the exclamation point will be gone. if all the songs are in the same folder then you don't have to keep repeating this for every song you just click it and it will play.
